Some thoughts:
Victoriana
Hester
Almira
Fidelia
Selena
Hope this helps!
Some good thoughts there-we particularly like ‘Almira’.
Since it looks a little like a drunk sign painter’s interpretation of Windsor, why not name it after a member of the British Royal Family (the Windsors)?
Interesting idea. Can we ask why a ‘drunken’ sign painter as opposed to a sober one?
You’re doing great work here at GATF. What are your sources for these fonts? If you take a lok at my site you’ll see I share the same fondness for the ornate and rich design work of the 19th century.
That’s a great collection on your site. Our fonts are deliberately not revivals of specific old designs. Rather they aim to be new designs in old style, so inspiration comes from a lot of introspection and some general study of old design work. Glad you like the results!
There are a ton of other ideas where those came from, but didn’t want to burden you!
The suggestions are much appreciated, thanks again!
