As suggested by the uploader of the original found lettering, here’s Svengali Roman with finer serifs:

Much closer to the original. I might mention that the serifs, while tapered, weren’t quite so sharp, but more rounded/less angular. Also, the upper serifs had the same visual weight as the cross strokes.
