Here’s a sampling of the Alfrere family (inspired by a well known, if rather vintage, television series’ titles). To date, we’ve developed five typefaces for this family, though we still have a couple more in mind. As shown in this specimen, all five typefaces have the same widths and metrics so that they can be set identically and overlayed to create multi-colour effects. Of course, each of the five faces can also be used on its own…

A week or two ago we published some sketches of upper case letter forms for a project we’ provisionally named ‘Alfredian’. Congratulations again to Mitch Chase, who managed to guess the inspiration behind these letterforms as the title card from ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents’. We’ve since had a subtle rethink on the title front and the family will now be known as Alfrere Sans. A copy of the family will be dispatched to Mitch once the whole family is complete.

We’ve just dispatched our two newest completed releases to our resellers so they should appear in the next week or so. The two releases in question are Chubbly and Pittsburgh. Here are a few words about, and samples of, of each of them.
