Meet ‘Stout Sans”…. planned as a future release in due course, to be accompanied by ‘Stout Serif’. These capitals are the start of a good clear headlining family for signs, banners and headings. But in time this family will in time be much more than that. A good clear set of geometric letterforms will be the basis for a range of display faces, as well as some of the comedy ideas we’ve already written about, such as “Chapitals”, but also more formal display ideas.
