Here are a couple of posters designed in memory of the sadly missed Brighton Belle train service, designed to display our newly released Merrivale family. Why isn’t train travel like this any more? Here’s the second day of our week of travel hypotheticals. Today, Oakland regular is used to invite us to cross the Atlantic on the Blue Star’s Lines Blue Riband holding liner service. There’s a definite ‘Streamline-era’ feel to this design and to the Oakland typeface. Jazz era New York (or Southampton as the case may be) here we come!
