Seen to day in a local bookshop, a new publication from Harper Collins, Richard Davenport-Hines‘ “Titanic Lives”. Here’ a typographic specimen we were having fun with. It uses Birmingham New Street and the forthcoming Merrivale to recreate the spirit of Edwardian summer holiday travel, sitting comfortably in a steam-hauled Pullman carriage, heading for England’s sunny south coast.
