A sort of English perpendicular gothic meets copperplate idea, I’m having fun with this one…

The key to getting a small capitals design to work seems to be preserving the stroke weights between the two sizes of capital letter forms. Shervington is a mono-weight font- though there are some actual variations in the weights of strokes to preserve the look of a uniform weight.  It always intrigues me that such a measure is necessary. all adds to the challenge though.

Yes, I know attention is required to the kerning between ‘l-v’…
