Garstang Engraved in Use

Garstang Engraved is othe latest in Greater Albion ‘s series of ‘wood type’ inspired fonts. Garstang Engraved is a hand-cut Roman, suggesting the late Victorian era, but the type of thing that continued in use well into the twentieth century. If you want a title face that has versatility and suggests a past history, as well as the art of finely cut wood type, then this is it!

Halliwell Casual in Action

Halliwell Casual is a hand lettered all capitals script, combining charm and character with legibility. Ideal for poster work and eye-catching banners. Try a little casual and timeless elegance.

Portculliard – Black Letter in Action

Greater Albion always releases a Black letter each year, hopefully well before the Christmas seas (which we seem to have managed this year – September). There is something about this year’s project which suggests a caste portcullis to us.  Why not visit ye olde world in your next designer project?

Rotham Industria in Use

Rotham Industria. Stylised lettering for industrial flavoured projects.  Imagine, if you will, letters shaped from metal tube, or perhaps from a solid rod, or perhaps made from brass handrails?  You get the idea. A stylised and fun typeface for those occasions where you want to suggest an engineering influence.

Infinite Variations?

Sombrieul has a LOT of opentype features:- stylistic alternates, ligatures, discretionary ligatures, small capitals, title forms, swash capitals, old-style and lining numerals, numeral title forms.  Of course, these features don’t allow for infinite variability in appearance, there must be some limits after all! They do allow for a lot, however! Here are some variations…
