      • The Emmet and Heath Robinson Railway Company.

      • Floral Art With Impact, or the Magenta Magnolias

Posted at 8:49 am by gatf, on March 10, 2019

Some ligatures, maybe more to come

      • Progress on Halliwell Casual

Posted at 1:35 pm by gatf, on July 22, 2018

I’m not sure if I’d mentioned the name I had in mind for this casual, all capitals font before.  Still things are progressing:

      • Creating Age Digitally

Here’s another advertisement for our favourite  ‘would-be’ chocolate. It is typeset in Gondolieri, and used as a test piece for some exercises in digital weathering and ageing…

      • The Three Duchesses

Posted at 5:01 am by gatf, on May 27, 2018

And here is the digital painting finished.

A digital painting which Just finished. Three Duchesses wait alongside each other in steam.. The scene is from imagination and a little artistic licence has been applied to have Green Maroon and Blue liveries all present together. Drawn with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, I’m just as pleased with this as any of my traditional paintings.
